Upcoming Bondage Thoughts into 2015

Hmm, that's a bit of an awkward title.  But I hope you get my drift.  These are some thoughts we've been mulling over for upcoming bondage wrestling action:

1. Crazy Azy vs Hanz  (update 1/14/15: Released!)

First off, a match that is just screaming to happen: Crazy Azy vs Hanz.

Both Azy and Hanz were together at the same bondage wrestling shoot in October.  They both wrestled Mahea, one after the other (and both won).  And then, both Azy and Hanz were together at the same bondage wrestling shoot in November.  They both wrestled VeVe, one after the other (and both lost).

But for some strange reason or oversight, we just haven't had them bondage wrestle each other.  A fan wrote in this week, in response to a match-making question I'd asked, and he suggested we make this match-up.  And, yes, of course, how could we not?

I immediately contacted Azy and Hanz to get their opinion on the matter, and they both promptly responded with an affirmative!

2. More VeVe vs Rachel DD

We had a great response to the original bondage wrestling match of VeVe vs Rachel DD and, in fact, fans are very eager to see a rematch.  This is totally do-able.  And I'd actually like to add some other vital elements to the mix.

Continuing on the "early gagging" theme and also in an attempt to get an "early gag" worked into a competitive match, I'd like to pursue the superheroine costume idea for this second match.  Rachel in Black Canary attire, ambushed by Evil VeVe and gagged immediately - thus robbing her of her sonic scream super power - and forced into a bondage battle.

I really hope to make that one happen as soon as we can.

3. Zentai vs Non-zentai

In response to our zentai wrestling and recent zentai bondage wrestling, a fan had suggested a match featuring a zentai-suited person against a non-zentai person.  I like this idea, and I think it can totally work in a rope-tie battle.

There's this neat alien aspect of being assailed by a faceless, featureless, mono-textured opponent.  While Zentai vs Zentai puts both participants on equal ground for alien-ness, a "regular" person fighting against a Zentai could be more unnerving.

There's a lot of possibility here, actually, and it's certainly on the To-Do list.

4. The Next Multi-person Tournament(s)

We loved our two 4-way female bondage matches, and we especially loved our 6-way bikini match from this past summer.  We're brewing plans for a new "special attire" themed 4-way for early 2015.  More info on that will be revealed later.  I am also aiming for an eventual 8-way match some time later.  Can you imagine how wildly awesome that would be?  Totally do-able with good planning.

So far, all of our multi-way tournies have been female-only.  People really enjoy these, and the ladies do love egging each other on.  However, would a mixed multi-way be interesting?  Or would it be too much... mixing?  I think it would have an appeal to some audiences, but would it be too much of a niche focus?  Couples match?  Boys vs girls?  Men and women both being bound by men and women, all at the same time?  Readers, your opinions are appreciated.

5. Outdoor, On Location, and Storyline Competitive

It would be great to frame some competitive bouts within the context of an adventure storyline.  I've considered the "Small Storyline" concept and the "Large Storyline" concept.

By "Small Storyline," I mean a single match between characters or character-types who encounter each other in a specific location.  Examples:

  • Rival Agents who are both going after the same target, who chance run into each other and who need to incapacitate their rival to get her out of the way.
  • Angry Ballerinas who have a tiff backstage and try to tie each other up with extra pairs of tights
  • A retail shop employee who tries to wrangle a shoplifter using duct tape
  • Superheroines / Villains doing their animosity thing... on a roof top, in a secret hideout, on top of a Dooms Day device.
By "Large Storyline," I mean a longer scenario in which the protagonist may face several competitive bondage wrestling opponents as she / he moves through the world of the story.  Maybe, in the course of an adventure, the heroine has to face various villains and incapacitate them with bondage materials: rope, tape, cord.  If the matches are competitive, she might run the risk of losing and being bound herself.  But the story doesn't end - she'd need to make her escape (a la a "Bondage Escape Challenge") and keep trying.

The Large Storyline takes a bit more planning, but I do like the "Choose Your Own Adventure" aspect that the competitive style would bring.  Granted, it may be jarring that the matches in the context of the storyline could / would be much longer than we're used to seeing in a mainstream adventure movie (15-20 minutes vs 3-5 minutes).  But the idea is certainly something I'd like to try.

Wrap Up

So, there are 5 little ideas that are kicking around and hoping for realization in the new year.  As I mentioned, I think a lot of them are quite achievable.  Concepts like the Large Storyline are ambitious, but certainly not impossible.  As is always the case here in New York City, scheduling and talent/venue coordination is the biggest challenge for these sort of things.  But when serendipity happens, it sure is sweet.

I'll leave you now with that.  I hope you enjoyed these ideas and that they are something you're curious about yourself.  Many are fan-inspired and/or a meeting place between suggested concepts and concepts we've been mulling on our end.

And, as always, if there's something you're curious to see, feel free to write in and let us know.  I always appreciate all comments, suggestions, and feedback.  And we all do enjoy dialoguing with fans, viewers, and readers using this neat and versatile video medium.

Happy New Year to all!

fresh meat for VeVe: bondage wrestling w/Conrad

So the bondage wrestling adventures continue...

On Saturday, I brought a new opponent into the studio to try his hand at bondage wrestling.  Conrad was a bit of a young buck type, a confident 22-year-old who'd done some middle school and high school wrestling.  "I bet I could pin you in a straight match," he said.  I do not agree...but we'll settle that question another day.  Saturday was all about the ropes.

Now Conrad also had a sort of macho-masochistic curiosity to find out "how much he could take," so we came up with a scenario that would give me a great excuse to torment him if I won.  And that is IF I won.  We let the new challengers know that they are absolutely allowed to win, that they should try their hardest, and that it would in fact be GREAT if they won.  I've noticed the guys, in particular, will perk up and be very excited when they hear this...until the match begins and they realize how hard it is to tie up a resisting opponent.

Anyway, this scenario.  Conrad played a model who agrees to come in to do a domination video with me, but changes his mind in the middle of the shoot and refuses to finish the video.  I can't let that happen, so...bondage wrestling to decide if he will escape or get "stuck" finishing the shoot and being punished for his recalcitrance.

Now here is the great secret of this match.  It may appear to have nothing to do with the recent 4-way, FvF bondage match I did with Shauna, Indra, and Kim, but it actually had everything to do with it.  In that match, Kim gave me a LOT of trouble getting her tied up.  I kept going for the super-tie that I know is an immediate, sure-fire match ender, the behind-the-back double elbow tie.  This tie is absolutely brilliant IF you can get it, but it requires that you trap both of the other person's arms at once and that the rope doesn't slip down to the wrists before it's tightened -- and the other person is usually more than happy to help it slip with a lot of pushing and wriggling.  Add in the other person being better-than-average flexible and/or the rope being a little bit short, and this very wonderful tie can be almost impossible to get.

It was only after the match that I remembered a technique I haven't used in forever -- the single-wrist-behind-the-back tie.  I have been kicking myself ever since for not trying that technique on Kim.  So going into this match with Conrad, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to try, and I went right for it.  I'll give Conrad props for not being a pushover wrestler generally speaking, but I had a mission in this match, and I had a game plan.  And it worked beautifully.  The single wrist tie isn't as secure as the double elbow, but it is wonderful for hobbling the other person just enough to let you set up the double elbow better and tighter than ever.

And we are talking ridiculously tight.  I'm amazed, actually, that Conrad was able to put up with that tie -- elbows together and once the hogtie was cinched in, some nasty wrist-ankle tension.  I'll also give him props for toughness.  He stood all the punishment slapping and smothering quite well too.

Now the next item on the bondage wrestling agenda is an escape-and-attack challenge between Indra and Orlandoe.  I may have to share a few of these tying insights with the ladies before they face off.  As far as I've been able to figure, there are 3-1/2 ties that REALLY work in a competitive bondage wrestling situation, and after you've gotten control with those you can embellish however you like...  But this is a topic for another time!

Competitive Mixed Bondage Wrestling coming in May

Many of you female domination fans have already feasted your eyes on VeVe's Lethal Leotards "Bondage Takedown," but for those of you who crave competitive, egalitarian rope-tie battles, we've got something coming soon for you too.

The next installment in this spring's Bondage Wrestling goings-on will be a fully competitive rematch between VeVe and long-time rival Hanz Vanderkill.  VeVe and Hanz faced off in their first competitive bondage wrestling challenge in May 2012 - one year ago (VeVe vs Hanz: Bondage Wrestling May 2012).

There were no rounds, no time limit, no preconceptions, no pre-determinations.  The camera was just going to keep rolling until someone ended up fully bound.

I will admit, as the camera operator, I was a little worried that this video might go on forever.  However, after a long, continuous struggle, we finally reached a conclusion after about 30 minutes.

This match is notable because it demonstrates the development and effectiveness of VeVe's "elbows behind the back" tie.  VeVe's deft cinching of Hanz's elbows behind his back is what finally brought him down in this match.

And a year before that, in May 2011, VeVe used the exact same technique on Indra to score a victory there as well (VeVe vs Indra: Bondage Wrestling May 2011).

And though it lacks the chronological unity of the previous two example, in December 2012, VeVe also used the exact same technique to finish off Keri in their competitive bondage rematch  (VeVe vs Keri: Bondage REMATCH. Dec 2012).

For his own good, Mr. Hanz should be reading this blog entry.  We do see a trend here.  First the binding of the ankles.  Then, if she's lucky, the knees come next.  But bound knees or not, the next step is to tie the elbows behind the back.  Why?  Aside from it being a hopeless immobilizer, it also prevents the opponent from continually untying the ropes binding his/her feet.

Take a glance at those images.  I think it's safe to say that VeVe's got something going there with the elbow binding.

I also look forward to filming this rematch with the High Definition camera that we have been using since June 2012.  VeVe's original bondage match with Hanz was filmed on the Standard Definition camera, and though that camera performed admirably, I would like to get this one in HD.  What more, with the HD camera, I can produce files that are of a bigger display size and higher bit rate at around a similar file size.

So, what will come of this new showdown?  VeVe has had a LOT of bondage experience over the past year.  I warned Hanz of this, but I don't know if he truly understands just how much she has been doing.  Confident in his general fitness and grappling game, he said: "Me from a year ago ain't like me from today!"

Well, ok!  We shall see what the future holds!  So, coming up for May 2013, the competitive bondage rematch of VeVe vs Hanz.  I wonder how long this one will last.  Place your bets...
